Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya: How to bring back the tourists?

All three have been major tourist destinations but suffer for three years. Revolutions, terrorist attacks and political instability have had because of their attractiveness and difficulties faced by their economies. Some people do not always come out, others find themselves gradually their tourists. Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya, countries that now must reassure to revive the sector.

In Egypt, for example, tourism revenues have been halved and 500,000 jobs were lost. All in just three years. Suddenly, the Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou string of trips to burnish the image of his country. A publicity campaign was also launched on the social networks that appeal to tourists is: "We miss you." Cameras have been installed on the same historical sites to show that there is more danger.

Regarding the safety of foreign visitors in Egypt, the situation has changed in February with the attack against a bus of tourists in Sinai who killed four people and the attacks in Cairo in the months that followed. Our correspondent François Hume met a French tour guide. She lost her job two years ago for lack of tourists. She said the government should review its priorities.
"If the country regains stability at the political level, people will come back, that's for sure, she said. It's not that people who advertise on TV "That's just, everything is fine," and then the next day there was a bomb, a bomb there ... Finally, we will not be trusted. And that's why I think the current efforts of the Ministry of Tourism, this is not the time to do: we must first stability! And only after we made all these efforts to attract people. "
